2016 Jayco Journey Outback 17.55-8 ~ Pop-Top Comfort with J-Tech Suspension. Purpose-built for adventurous touring, the Jayco Journey Outback 17.55-8 combines easy towing, clever design and upgraded off-road capability. Its pop-top construction gives you a lower profile on the road – almost level with a standard SUV – reducing drag and making travel more fuel efficient. Once you arrive, the roof lifts to create a spacious, full-height interior.

At the front, a comfortable island bed offers a restful retreat after a day of exploring. The bed’s central placement makes it easy to move around and a swivelling TV/DVD unit provides entertainment from the bedroom or can be turned toward the dinette for mealtime viewing.

The mid-section features a practical kitchen with a stove and sink (both with lids for extra bench space) and plenty of storage. Opposite, the L-shaped lounge and dinette offer a relaxed area for dining or unwinding, with a three-way fridge conveniently located nearby to keep provisions fresh.

The rear bathroom is designed for convenience, with a separate shower, toilet and vanity – making it easy to freshen up no matter where you’ve parked.

With Jayco’s own J-Tech independent suspension underfoot, the Outback edition is ready for sealed roads and beyond, offering a smoother ride and greater stability on rougher terrain.
